Bought 06 G35x...recommendations please

I just bought an 06 G35X. It's my first one and I love it so far. It was a single owner and was serviced at the dealer the whole time. It has 119,000 miles on it. Is this a lot for these cars? Someone told me the 3.5 engines are some of the best out there. I want to do a few mods to it. What are the basics you would recommend doing? Also looking at another 04 for my wife. It is rebuilt title and has 94,000 on it but VDC, SLIP, and ABS lights on for about a year the guy said. You guys think it's an easy fix or stay away from this one. Any input is appreciated.

119k isn't much for these cars, actually that should be normal miles. I have 88k on mines but i've worked/driven/seen many with 150-175k.

3.5 motors were great for its time but not its a thirsty gas hog what has slightly above average power, everyone caught up with the HP.

Basic things to do would really reflect on what you like. Many start off with little LED lights around the car, wheels and suspension. I would say enjoy the car for what it is and dont sink too much money into it.

Rebuilt titles are hard to determine value. You have to find out WHY it was totalled in the first place and if the shop that did the repairs were on the up and up. You could have a flood car on your hands or a huge wreck. Some cars are repaired back to BETTER then OEM spec and some are just barely enough to pass state inspections (many are done this way).

It always amazes me that people will sell a car with an "easy fix issue." Hint: if it has not been fixed yet it's not an easy fix.

Not sure what the abs light is on for but my Christmas tree lights came on a couple months ago when I needed something called a camshaft positioning sensor.

Thanks so much for the replies. I've also heard of the camshaft sensors causing it. The 06 I just bought has a clean title. I was wondering what mods like Cold air intake or exhaust and if they are really worth the money added in. The factory Airbox looks decent. Not sure how much exhaust or cold air intake would add in regards to power or increase/decrease gas mileage.

Look at the technical threads. They look shiny and sound good but offer a lower efficiency rating for your power output. The g is pretty much tuned to the end from the factory.
