Hey everyone. Just picked up a g35 for steal and just wanting to learn more about the car and things like that. So far I love the car.

I have an 04 g35 sedan and I got it in an even trade for my modded grand prix.

 

You got a great deal! Your G would beat that grand prix i. Reverse lol. I have a 05X and love it! I have blown 2001 mustang gts away no problem! Fastest l got my X up to was 130 on interstate 81 in va. The road is so straight l had to see what she would do.l was lucky no police was around. It still was wanting to go i let off and braked. I will never try that again!! I do want to tame the Dragon in tenn though. Thats a road 11 miles long with 300 curves thru the mtns.Have fun with your G!

 

You can do some simple mods like cold air intake plenum spacer and a tune. Of course a new exh system. I love the sound of the first gen G!

 

Yes I'm looking to mod it and it sounds lovely.

My previous Pontiac was supercharged and modded to a 3.0 pulley would have eaten my g35 alive lol. The g35 is a better car all around though and I love it

 

With all that work it better! But corners under power the g will be the king! I had my X up to 130 on the interstate 81 and was still pulling hard! Got scared of the police had to stop being stupid!!!

I know but tracffic was moving at 90 so l just went faster.l only
did it for 1\4 mile.lm sure you have never driven faster than the speed limit. It was my first time . If you have ever been on 81 70 is the speed limit but most people drive it much faster. And if you read my full statement you will see l said l slowed down from driving stupid!l did race a stang once that was on a back road here in ga.which might have 2 cars an hour go down. That was my first and race l ever had in 35 yrs of driving! And l have never got a speeding ticket in my life!! Even on my sportbike 600 rr.which is hard not to crack the throttle on.

 

Here's it when i first got it. Previous guy dipped it. Awful job might I add.





Peeling the dip resulted in paint peeling so now it's getting painted back to factory next month.

Wow nice GP! That was one of the last yr of a good looking GP! The G Is fast to begin with. I love the sound when lm in manualmatic mode. When she hits 3800 rpm she starts to sing.Your GP is nice it had to be hard to let it go!

 

I love the layout of the cockpit on the 04-05 G.looks better than the 2013 G37 for sure!

 

Woah really!? Can I quote you on that? What aspects do you like better?

 

You can quote me. The location of speed control.and radio buttons. Also seat controls on the top side of the seats. Instead down on the left side. The cockpit is sportier looking too! Newer Gs are nice just downplayed on style!

 

Oh ok but the later models have that up-rev engine, which I think adds more horsepower, but more importantly does that up rev technology increase the consumption of gas, ie more fuel stops?
