New guy in the G world

Howdy y'all! Two days ago I picked up my first G, it’s a 04 g35 6mt coupe. It has the sport package and navigation. I bought this to save on gas from my pickup that averages 8-10mpg on a good day. Like I said I've had it for two days and I have started to uncover some problems with the car: The driver’s side window rolls down but not up (I tore it apart and the motor functions well and has a lot of torque, so I cleaned the tracks very well but the window still won’t roll up) and then the passengers window is acting very odd as well, so I unhooked the motors so they can’t be rolled down until I figure it out. My other question about the car is that on the trunk it has SKYLINE badges. At first I thought it was just some AutoZone stick on letters that somebody put there but they seem to be professionally done (they are very straight, equally space and centered) and I can’t see where a G35 or Infiniti badge was. So I guess what I'm asking is there an Infiniti g35 Skyline? I would really appreciate any feedback y'all have!

In the rest of the world these cars are called Nissan Skylines. Dorks remove the G35/infiniti badges and replace them with gt350/skyline/Nissan badging. Its common practice for a$$hats. Just get a heat gun and remove the previous fedora wearers work.

Ya damn ball buster.

It definitely is the V35 skyline in other countries, but it is not like the R series of Nissans that were released. This is the 350GT, or grand touring model. Not racing .

Congrats! That's a nice looking car and you have the best looking color for the G35. There is a lot of fruitful feedback here regarding the https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-cou...0-skyline.html

I agree with urban engineer Nissan did not race modify their v35 and v36 skylines like they did with their R skylines

Aren't skylines right hand drive? Welcome to the club! You have nice looking coupe! Enjoy driving it! Skyline or not the G is one sweet car to own and mod!

Besides that the car is still the same model, right hand left hand depends on the country of residence. The US caters to LHD, it would be difficult driving an RHD here, ie at the toll booth

Yes they are called Skyline 350GT in Japan and other countries like Europe. I've even seen Skyline coupes in the Bahamas (not the R-series).
USA always has to have its way and many *** cars are renamed when they arrived here.

But yours has the Infiniti logo in the front, so most likely the Skyline badge in the rear was just installed professionally.

Enjoy your G! When you get it fixed you can do mods. I have a sedan. Not many parts to spice it up body wise. I have an X which has the least aftermarket parts.

Looks really clean! It's still crazy to me how good these cars look for being 10 years old.

Its because the body style was ahead of the pack in style! I have seen skylines here in US. Brought back by service men and women! They are all right hand drive. Japan has different blend of gas from the USA.
