After trying to put a car seat in our RX8; the wife told me to find an AWD - 4 door so I finally got my G35X. The baby was born 11/23 so pretty much as soon as I bought it I had to leave it parked in the driveway for her and the baby. I will say though... for the short time I drove it to work I loved it.
Had to immediately tint her up... wife did not approve!

Who wouldn't approve of tint? Everything about it makes life better. It looks better, keeps the interior cooler, keeps out UV rays, combats glare from other drivers headlights. Tint is awesome.
Welcome to the club!! I have a 05X and love it! Handles great and has some get up and go! Nice tint! Not too dark! I dont know how people with dark tint drive at nite! Enjoy the road with your G and wife!
I have never had a car that wasn't tinted... her RX8 has tint, but she wasn't happy when I surprised her with birthday tint. I LOVE IT!
As far as mods go I haven't had much time to explore the options. The short list would include summer wheels, tires, and coil overs. Tint, K&N, and full synthetic oil have already been checked off the list. I'd like to add a bit more pep, but haven't found much yet. If is 10-20hp I won't bother with it. At any rate it's not like it could be much worse on gas! Beings it's the X I guess I need to double check fitments. I really want some Rays. Those wheels look great on these cars.
Basically, it's the family truckster. I am trying not to get to carried away, but man that tough. The car is spotless inside and out including under the hood. Looks like this thing came out of a time capsule. I've wanted one since 2004, but never needed it. Then my buddy picked up a G37X so it was on...

10-20 extra hp there isn't much you can do. Bolt on is it. Change your exh and get a osiris tune. I have a 05X they seem to be the step child nobody wanted! Wheels you want same width front and back. You don't want 8 in width front and 9.5 in back. The transfer case wint like the rolling difference between the front and back! If your leather seats have no rips or tears at the seems thats great. Mine is mint I'm happy! If you want lots of hp that will be lots of work and money! I changed my exh and added a z-tube gained a few poines and feel.it! Gas mileage didn't change. Still get 25 highway 20 around town Enjoy your X!
