Hello all, my name is Austin 18, from the smallest state, Rhode Island. Always loved cars dream car was to own a g35 6 speed manual and I finally bought one this summer. New the g35 world but not to cars. Do most of my maintenance myself with some help with my dad. Right now I put on a spec D front lip, top speed pro HKS Replica exhaust with the blue tips, painted my stock rims to a dark grey almost the same color as my car because the previous owner had really bad curb rash. Double din pioneer radio, K&N intake. Tinted windows.Brembo brake kit. Custom headlights. Looking to buy new rims soon. Have a couple of ideas for my car later on. Getting lowering springs for Christmas which will be installed soonn . Thats about it for now. Glad to be part of the VQ family.

Also save the $ from the springs and put that into the real deal 06-07 projectors.

Aside from that the car looks good

Jersey taylor whats the cost for the headlights? How hard is install on a 05? That was good info on the exh. It would suck destroying the rear panel.

 

for you they unfortunately never made OEM projectors man...
You'd have to retrofit and I'm sure you're looking at at least a grand if not more to retrofit them into sedan housings.
For a coupe they're pretty much plug and play

The headlights I have now are projectors and I want my car lowered so ill stick to the springs haha and i got the tips readjusted thanks for the feedback!


Thanks man the wheels came out better than I excepted. They almost look powdered coated really liked the finish look but still want some new wheels eventually.

 

They may have a "projector" but they are not even close to the same quality or same light output as the OEM ones

Being from Rhode Island do you get lots of snow? I know 2014 was a bad winter in jersey 53 inches of snow! I was happy l had a X awd! She went thru 12 inches of snow like my ranger 4x4! I still would love to get a 6mt coupe! Im in Ga now wont get much if any snow here!

 

Yeah we get quite a bit of snow over here in Rhode Island haha, luckly we haven't had one storm yet and it's my first year in the G but I don't think I'll be going anywhere if we get more than a couple of inches haha. I was trying to buy some cheap snow tires to throw just for the season but didn't find any around

 

Snow tires are the best you can get for a rwd coupe! I run all season high performance hankook tires. Just take it easy in your coupe during your first snow fall. Enjoy your sweet looking coupe and be safe! Merry Christmas!
