hey guys I'm new to the site and need some advise and information. i was looking at getting a 2003 g35 sedan-6 speed trans with 70xxx miles, the guy said the clutch was just replaced. i just wan to know, do these cars have good solid transmissions, and could this car be at the point when everything tarts going wrong? the last thing i want i someone else headache. if the car is driven normally and proper oil changes n stuff, how reliable are they? how long do the trans last? and how maintenance free, mechanical wise are these car? thanks guys

 

Engine and trans are pretty solid for the most part. But any 13 year old car will have issues, its just a fact of life type thing. Stuff will fail on a car that old.

 

yea i understand it will have some issues here and there but what i need is a car i can drive across country if need be and not have to worry about the engine ortolans failing.

yea it does seem pretty solid.. but i was wondering if anyone knew if there are any known issues with this year? i keep searching this forum and can't find anything haha prob cause i can barely figure out how to use this

 

Lots of issues, mostly minor. Drivetrain is reliable.

 

not really worried about small minor issues, any known ones with the trans or engine?
