Hi all. Name's Greg and this Friday the 16th I'll be the proud new owner of a silver 2008 G35 Journey sedan. I'm coming out of a 2008 BMW 550i. Looked at a lot of cars and this one was by far the best one out there, both in terms of condition and service history. Looking forward to doing a lot of reading here.

I hear bad things about bmw maintenance. If you had issues before, this car should be a lot more reliable.

Actually had pretty good luck with the BMW over the past five years, but even doing all the maintenance yourself is expensive - $150 oil changes, $900 brake jobs, $100 thermostats, etc. It only broke down once. That was a Valvetronic Eccentric Shaft Sensor to the tune of $1,600. Coming up on 80,000 miles, it's time to go. It'll only get worse from here

I'll definitely do that. Taking delivery Friday morning so I'll get some pics this weekend and post 'em up!
