From SoCal Ventura County just starting

This is my 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe 5AT. I first bought this car about June 2014 so up to now I've had it for only 1 year 4 months and I haven't had much time to do anything to it really due to a work injury that will most likely follow and be with me the rest of my life. But on the bright side I love cars so much nothing will ever really stop me from enjoying cars in general and doing what I can do to it. I have plans for it and here are some things I have done to it. Smoked tail lights, carbon fiber wrap on roof & trunk, led interior and exterior lights. Still stock everything else and I'm currently taking all the interior out and putting Fatmat 80mil Rattle Trap sound deadener in it to quiet down the road noise and other noises down from the outside so it has less of a droning noise. The Fatmat cost about $109 for 50sqft straight from Fatmat themselves. I will post more as I get time to do more soon. Also took apart my headlights and painted the inside black.

Same day i bought her and brought her home. June 2014.

Great stuff, man. I dig it. Couple things:

First: was cleaning the light strip on your headlights any more involved than cleaning the lens itself? I thought the light strip was textured..? I actually like the first gen HLs better, but HATE the yellowing of that strip. Yours look outstanding tho. Makes me wanna retrofit some projectors in some 04s.

Next, may I suggest removing the door bumpers..? I cannot stand those things. Yer car, I know, but it looks so much cleaner without them.

Finally: 06/7 sport bumper.

Yeah I'm actually going to be taking off those door bumpers soon I don't like them either but need to get the paint correction products first to make sure i don't have that leftover residue or ghostly leftover. I actually took out the side strip plastic I hated the yellowing of it so much and I'm looking to buy a new set of headlights with the top with projectors also and have it custom made with a LED solid strip for the side instead.

top half interior color change

I'm changing the top half of my interior color from this ugly tan to black like the rest of the bottom half. I picked up these interior paints to change the color from my buddy Jose Guerror from National Parts Depot here in Ventura, CA it definitely changed it without any worry of flaking or anything. I'm currently working on the headliner I'm trying to go for a VIP feel to it if I can and I will post pics later when it's done.

What about the plastics like the visor clip and seat belt guide? They get a lot of wear and tear. Won't they start chipping?

Well the belt clips I can't paint because yes wear and tear so I have to find the same kind from Nissan that came in black and as for the visors I got black visors off a 350z same visors and as for that visor holder clip that goes into the headliner I got a black one from Nissan from a 350z which I have pics for part numbers also.
