New Owner in NJ

I got this 2007 G35 last week and love it. I had a guy from lemonsquad inspect it and he gave it a very good review despite the 85k mileage. I was satisfied and pulled the trigger.

There are some bumps in the road:

Inbuilt GPS is really outdated (instead I use latest Garmin).

Snow tires. I need to get snow tires for the winter (craigslist has two sets listed at around $600). I'd feel much more confident with these unexpected snowstorms in the northeast. Blizzak with 18 Rims or Dunlup/Pirelli Performance Tires?

Music with smartphone. One thing that's not working is the 3.5mm jack. I plug it into the device to play my music and switch mode to "auxiliary" and it just does not work, looks like the music is going in but nothing out the speakers. I bought a bluetooth device that works with a radio frequency, tested it today it works but the quality is very poor and I would rather have the 3.5mm jack in the phone. This is holding me back from fully enjoying the ride. It also has a second jack for an iPod (which I don't have or use). You know of any issues with this or if I am missing something?

Other than that, it's is one awesome car both to drive and to look at, already one person came up to me asking about it.

Once JT gets on, he will probably come find you...he loves new NJ drivers.
If you're looking to have a separate set just for winter then I'd stick with 18in and the Blizzak tires...can't go wrong. If you want a year round, all season tire I recommend the Continental DWS...never had any issues in snow with those tires and use them on my Audi too.
Also, 6MT or nah?
