Newbie With Questions

I just purchased my daughters 2005 G35 coupe. I do have a couple of questions. The cockpit has a lot of noise from the back tires, is that the way its supposed to sound and I also feel every little bump after her boyfriend change the coils. If I put the original coils back on will it be a softer ride? I also had to spray the entire interior with Lysol spray to kill some mold she had from water. Does anyone know how to get rid of that smell from the leather?

If the original struts aren't blown than there should be no issues putting them back on. Did you figure out where the water was coming from?

The struts are new, but the car rocks from side to side over a bump, instead of up and down. The water was from clogged sun roof drains. I got rid of the Lysol smell.

The last time my car rocked from side to side was because of a blown strut in the rear. A bad alignment may be the cause too. Does the rest of the suspension look good? (sway bar end links, bushings, wheel bearings not loose).

Thanks for your response. I had the rear bearing replaced because they were bad. Everything else is good. I think I need an alignment.

The water was from the sunroof. The drains were clogged.
