As requested for new members checking in, I am going to give a brief bio and add a couple photos of my G35.
I was fortunate enough to be sent to General Motors training center in 1972 in Union NJ. Worked in a Oldsmobile and Cadillac dealership for a few years, then spent the next 45 years in factories doing equipment maintenance. Always maintained my own vehicles-mainly Japanese cars and German motorcycles. Now retired. Relevant to this forum, I have owned a 1997 3.0 Maxima 5 speed as well as a 2000 Maxima automatic 3.0. Both cars reached high miles before being retired for body and chassis rust (2003) or given to a family member (1997). I now drive a 2003 G35 with 186,000 miles. My Infiniti is stock and my days of doing any performance modifications are only a memory. I have a transmission issue which I will describe when starting a thread in a couple days. Maybe someone can offer some advice. My interests are primarily black and white photography using Hasselblad and Rolleiflex medium format cameras and developing and printing in my own darkroom with motorcycle riding as another favorite pastime.
