Ivory Pearl G35 Rev UP with 6MT and 19" alloy rims
Smile New User Ontario CA

Hi guys! been lurking around the forums for a bit but decided to make an account! very excited to post updates about my g35! bare with me I have lots of questions

A little about the car, Purchased my G35 in the summer and fell in love with her. currently inside for the winter while I do some minor mods. Here's what I know about the car

2007 Coupe w/ 19" Alloy Wheels

VQ35DE Rev up 6MT

~190000 Kms

Current mods include
Mishimoto oil catch can
Fan pulley Idler delete
JDM Double Din conversion kit

Quick Questions then some pics

Are engine mods mostly interchangeable with the Z33 platform? and are the 2007 models the same as the 2006 coupes?

Also if I bought a new air intake, and a plenum spacer, would I need a tune up afterwards?

Thanks in advance anyone! Now for some pics!

Welcome! 06-07 coupes are virtually identical, mostly yes on the mods between G's and Z's and intakes are virtually useless on this platform. A lot of them actually lose power because they only suck up the hot air in the engine bay. Takes a lot of supporting mods to see any gains from them and it's minimal. Also it's a tune, not a tune up and no you wouldn't need one but they have a ton of benefits. Read through this thread to get an idea of what they are and what they do. https://g35driver.com/forums/tuner-d...6-uprev-q.html

Nice ride! I actually just put on the MREV2 and plenum spacer and didn't need to do a tune. I didn't throw any codes. I plan on getting a tune after I get all of the A/F mods done, which is what I've heard works best.

Really eh? But I wanted to be the only one in Town with White G35 coupe...

I dont drive mine in winter, just took it out of storage.

I wonder if you recognize my accord I had for 16+ years i REALLY regret selling it, but didnt have room for both cars...... see this post - https://g35driver.com/forums/new-mem...-going-eh.html

There's an Ontario, CAlifornia here in Southern Calif. I then figure it out that you're referring to Canada once I see KMs mentioned lol
