How's it going driver's?

I recently acquired an '07 G35 sedan that came out from Utah.....ugh, the story there......anyways. The car has 109,000 miles on it is now my new daily! I'm really enjoying making this car mine and hope it does me good in return. Anyways ..here are some pictures.

Pretty much just stock for now....started with a few basic maintenance things to establish a good starting point... Did the front brakes and driver side wheel bearing about a week ago......

did the oil change and transmission oil as well......planning on rear differential oil and rear brakes this coming weekend.....
I was hoping after the front wheel bearing and front brakes that my stack of lights would stop coming on but alas, they still illuminate....slip vdc off and abs.maybe after I check the rear brakes and clean the rear and sensors? Hopefully.ha.
I also installed a set of window visors and the installation was simple and feels very secure. The fitment is great as well! Love how they look!

anyways....just wanted to say hi to whom ever checks out the new members area and introduce myself. Been searching this site for a little while now and seems to be the best resource for the G!

Welcome, car looks good but looks like she could use a good buff/polish/seal to make her nice and shiny. Might be your camera though, hard to tell.

I recently did the rear differential fluid and Man! It smelled gross and was kinda thick/nasty ...I hate gear oil.....replaced with like 1.8 quartz of Royal Purple....feels great!

I also took the opportunity to slightly polish my exhaust tips as they had so e over spray from that great paint job I got!

Came out pretty good as I ran out of elbow grease and daylight quickly.... definitely better than they were that's for sure!

Going to be buying a few things for it coming up and can't wait to get to it!

Got the parts I ordered in and struggled to find the time to install and take pics and post on here....
Ordered a set of TruHart coilovers and DS01 Aodhán wheels in 19x9.5 +15 for the front and 19x10.5 for the rears. A buddy pretty much have me a set of tires for the rears in 275/30 and I went with 225/35 for the fronts....

wheel gap was crazy high but I felt great with the new wheels!!.... One of the best parts is that swapping my stock wheel setup with smaller tires in the front then the rear with the new wheels got rid of the three lights that would come on after driving for about 15 seconds ( VDC OFF, ABS, SLIP)..... Feels better driving your car with no lights on in the dash you know!?

Definitely looks better lowered.....had to raise it almost 2 inches from there as I couldn't get out of my garage without hard scrapping. I still need to roll the fenders and try to pull the rears for a better fitment....thought the 275s looked huge at stock height but fit better now that I'm lowered....they do t stick out as much as before and not as much as I thought they were going to...

they're rubbing the rear tires as I drive and I only slightly scrape on the way out the garage.....the tops of each fender well are about 25" high +or- 1/8 inch....

I also ordered, recieved, and installed my $10 eBay rear view camera today....looks great and wasn't hard to do at all!... Other then removing the rear chrome trunk peice that I broke two tabs on during removal...

Of course I had to cut the signal from the wheel speed sensors and ground the parking brake wire to get it to work properly...happy with the out come!

The fenders were coming down on the rear tires while hitting a good dip or jostle while driving.....the driver side rear got the worst of it because of the *cough* added weight with the driver....

good buddy of mine let me borrow his personal Eastwood roller and I got a chance to ruin my fenders myself...haha

Ordered a pre-cut 4-D carbon fiber vinyl kit from vendor Rvinyl on eBay...fit great and looks great imo ...definitely changed up the brushed aluminum that peeling clear coat or whatever..

Already painted that plastic piece too...lol....ended up frying the driver side master window switch like a dummy while cleaning it, but got an unscratched up one from the junkyard for $80! ...still need to paint the rear ones....I'm lazy...haha

Been a long time since I've updated anything but I've still been lurking and loving the site......

Finally had a buddy of mine over at OneWay Performance unbolt the horrible catastrophe of whomever chopped the cats out and straight piped this thing

I went with some Megan resonated test pipes and a Manzo Y-Pipe......

still sounds quiet with the stock mufflers...... Nice solid rumble though
