Had the same issues. Ended up replacing coil packs , ordered 6 NGK coils from CARID.com $267 for all (6). Went to nearest auto parts and purchased new ngk spark plugs, pcv valve and cleaned out throttle bodies and cleaned the mass air flow sensors, also had an emissions code for the purge canister solenoid i ordered from Amazon $30. Got it up and running like new!

Recently had the same stuff done on my wife's RX300 but had a shop do it after hearing how involved the process was for that car.

Super simple, they're on the top of the valve covers. Right side is 100% accessible without removing any other components, left side you need to remove the intake pipe.
Be sure to label the harness wires so you don't get them mixed up, torque is 62 INCH lbs.
I'm sure there are plenty of youtube video's to watch as well.

Very simple to do. Remove both air intakes. Remove the 4 screws for the throttle bodies but do not disconnect them, just remove the screws And move it out of the way to access the coil pack #5 and #6. Standing in front of the car the sequence is as follow left side 1,3,5 right side 2,4,6....
