Start by cleaning the transmission ground, top front of the timing chain cover are two green screws with a ring terminal under it. Remove and wire brush the bolt mating face and threads, the timing chain cover, and both sides of the ring terminal. Apply a very light layer of electrical anti-oxidation grease (not dielectric which is made to BLOCK electricity) then bolt it all back together.

If it's not the transmission ground it's probably the manumatic switches on the shifter, remove and spray clean with electrical contact cleaner that is PLASTIC SAFE, be sure to read the can to make sure it's safe for use on plastic.

Usually it's dirty MM switches but the ground is an easier fix and sometimes the issue.
