Owner of a 2004 g35, just ordered some exterior mods. Very excited and hoping it all works out right as it�s been years since I�ve worked with imports.

Yes, but not anything worth showing at this moment.. I got a gtr style body kit because I got in a lil fender bender.. messed up my front bumper. Unfortunately I can�t find anyone who will mess with it around here. So I�m going to try and send it back and have ordered some easier things to mod to make it look a little more .. unique

 

Welcome!!! dude, you gotta post the photos it's supposed to be tore up the beginning plus I really want to see the GTR front cover. I've been looking at one id like to see it on a car that isn't an advertisement. everyone will try and hate on it, I think it might be good I'm am NOT a fan of the front end of my car at all. Mine was a front-end wreck as well but it's been a year and it's coming along.

 

I've never seen a GTR body kit that actually looked good. Honestly the money would be better spent towards AN ACTUAL GTR

The issue is everything on the G35 is designed to be sleek, smooth lines.

Everything on the GTR is designed to be angular.

You end up with an angular front end on an otherwise smooth lined car, it just looks out of place.

If you went FULL WIDE BODY KIT it might work, I've just never seen an example that actually looked good though, and paying shop rates you would be halfway through the cost of an actual GTR trying to make a G35 look like one.

 

There are body kits that do look good on the G35 though.

I think it would of been sick, personally. But to my endless disappointment, I have to try to send it back. Losing $400 on shipping at the end of it. Maybe I should try to sell it on eBay or something.. but I really don�t have any experience with that so prob just eat it.

 

You�re right, I didn�t realize how much work it would actually need and how expensive it would be to actually get it on there.. I just get excited and start ordering things without much consideration of anything else.

I think it has potential, you gotta two-tone it thought so the tears and the vents pop.
