Hello everyone so after replacing my clock spring on my g35, everything seemed to work but once I started driving it the slip and vdc off lights came on?! My car also starting braking on its own for a moment. If anyone knows how to fix this or any advice I would appreciate it very much thank you!

 

You didn't make match marks on the old clock spring so the new one is installed in EXACTLY the same position. Thus it's throwing your steering angle sensor (part of the clock spring and why the match marks need to be made so it's installed EXACTLY the same) is now off.

Time for a 1 hour appointment at Nissan to recalibrate your steering angle sensor.

Or you can buy NDS2 (windows PC version) and a cable and reset the sensor yourself.
