2006 g35 coupe auto vavle body replaced now won't accelerate

Hi there, new to the forum. I have a automatic 2006 g35 coupe. I just bought a used remanufactured vavle body on ebay. Numbers match and they said it didn't have to be programmed. I just installed it and now my car won't accelerate. It does go into gears but when I give it gas it doesn't go anywhere. Only goes up to like 1k rpm. Please help.

There is a recalibration that needs to be performed. Also, when unplugging stuff from your computer make sure you DISCONNECT THE BATTERY.

If it still isn't functioning after recalibration double check the harness to make sure you didn't bend the pins, it's pretty easy to do.

If it still doesn't work you probably got sold a defective unit.

Also, when in limp mode like that you should be throwing a CEL code.

Here's the throttle closed recalibration, and the ACC pedal recalibration. Do them both, use a stopwatch or timer because the seconds counts need to be very exact.

You will also need to perform the idle relearn after you do the two previous recalibrations.

I guess the dealership said the part number has too be 31705-17X4A and the one that I bought on ebay which said it would work didn't match that...

Sorry I misread and thought you said throttle body, ignore all that stuff I posted...

There are some differences in valve body yes, check out this website to see the different valve bodies that were available. You can just take your old one and compare it to the pictures to see exactly which one you need.

Ok so what was the whole reason for you installing a different valve body in the first place?

Are you sure you have the proper amount of fluid in the transmission?

Even with the wrong valve body it should be pushing the car forward (still slinging fluid in the converter) but just lock you into limp mode. If it won't move the car AT ALL then something else is probably wrong.

Are you SURE the transmission is good and doesn't have a smoked clutch pack? If a clutch pack is smoked the car won't move, period.

Is the CEL on? It probably is, what codes is it throwing?

Does your dash display the transmission going into gear properly? Try DRIVE and REVERSE.

Had a front brake solenoid code and car would go into limp mode, now after installing the used vavle body from ebay it wont rev. These are the original part 0260550002 31705-17X4A number the one I got on ebay is 0260550002 31040-90x10

31040-90x10 isn't a valid Nissan part number, are you sure you typed that correctly?
