So I bought this 06 g35 coupe about 3 months ago. It came with one key, thats not the original. The car runs great,but the key fobs have stopped working for the car, I tried to program them but the I've tried a million times and the car won't go into the "program phase".. the car alarm will randomly go off when the passenger door is opened sometimes. The light on my dash blinks when the car is off. After I start it, it stays solid... thats the part that gets me.. any help is appreciated thanks you

I wish I could pick up an old coupe like that. The ones for sale here are all trashed like that one recently with the red seats.

 

I wouldn't buy ANY car from those state like NJ, NY, CT, PA.. Those cars are just trashed from stop and go and those crappy roads with potholes and other crap..
But hey, you never know, this guy maybe drove this G on the weekends to church and back home..
I wish Nissan made a 2007 coupe with 2007 sedan front end and not that 06 lights.. Then they make a 08 coupe that's just hideous!

 

Honestly was thinking it could more along the line of a bcm problem or something weird going on with the ignition, I'm not sure. I just know it does weird things sometimes lol. Like the issue I described about the car alarm randomly going off when the passenger door is opened, whenever that happens my trunk won't open either. Super weird lol but super annoying.

 

Btw I love this car I picked it up for 4200. It deff isn't perfect but it's pretty clean for being a g35 coupe in today's age. Runs strong, 6 speed. Doesn't burn much oil, but the body has 188k on it. Engine was "allegedly" shaped with a motor with around 130k on it

 

 

To each its own.. Don't forget to upgrade your sunroof drains!

 

And get a tune!
