We just picked up our 05 ivory pearl coupe the other day in Annapolis,MD.
Had the spoiler installed, and we would like to unhook the third brake light.
Will this be a problem ?
This is a great site and I have learned quite a bit in the last few weeks.
I would also like to find a place to have the clear bra installed, we live near Ocean City,MD. Not too many G35's around here. Thanks in advance....

Congrats, IP is a really nice color and I would have thought about it hard if I didn't arleady have an opal pearl Lexus. What options did you get, and what was the price before TTT?

 

Congrats on your new G, to answer your question. I believe there have been some here on this forum take there G back and have the third brake light removed and others just had it disconnected. Talk to your dealer and ask if this is offered since you order a spoiler?

 

Thanks guys, I think I will just unhook the power to the light. Price was @
34,500 before TTT, no other options, other than rear spoiler, I need to find some shop to do the clear bra, we will make some calls on monday.
No photos yet, it has been raining here for three days.............

 

FWIW;
One other thing, now that you have the spoiler light...
If you're getting tints, make sure they tint over the light in the window.
A lot of shops don't bother.

 

Call Rob @ Proform. His number is 410-746-0020. His gives lifetime warranty on installs and is the best in Maryland. Tell him Chris sent you. Get 4 more G-owners and im sure he will discount them alot. He does alot of group buys.
