I have the same problem w/my lower bach hurting. The lumbar support is too high on my back, so I just bought a buckwheat pillow for the lower part of the seat. Now my lower back problems are gone.........

Thanks for the welcome and all the responses.

I test-drove the RSX type-S and TL at the Acura dealer today, and was surprised how EASY it was to drive those cars. For the type-S, it didn't seem possible to stall it; the clutch engaging range was really wide. The shifter felt very crisp and direct. Is it possible that Honda's shifter feel nicer than BMW's? I felt so today.

I also test-drove my friend's the '06 330ci ZHP today and had a small photo-shoot. So pictures REALLY coming soon!!

And I'm glad others have experienced the sore back problem and now I at least know the soreness should go away after the seat gets broken in, or at least I can put a pillow behind my back and it should be okay.

Another question, is it possible to change the key remote programming so that one click of unlock button unlocks both doors? I talked to my local dealer, and at first they told me it's impossible. But after asking their master technician, he said it'd cost $150 to get the programming done, which I felt was a little steep. They should've given me the options when I took delivery of my car, instead of asking me to pay $150 3 days after.

Nice ride. Kinda looks like mine, but I've got Stone interior and a bit lighter tint on the sides.

I haven't had any seat problems with mine and I'm pretty much a huge guy (6'3", 270). Just went from Santa Barbara to San Fran and back this weekend and no complaints at all. My buddy is about my size, and he complains that the passenger seat is too narrow and is pretty uncomfortable. I'm comfy though. Took me a couple of days to find the lumbar support, which helps after about 3 hours of a long drive.

The shifting is a bit notchy first thing in the morning on a cold day ("cold" means like 45 degrees here), but is fine after about 5 minutes. I can't imagine though being in a real cold environment, it must be impossible to get into 1st when it's 20 degrees out. This is my first stick car, and after a month I've gotten the hang of it, though I admit I may have burned up the clutch a bit on a nasty hill in SF this weekend.

Happy Driving!

Drove the car for another 30 miles today. I've never had a worse back pain in my life.

Then after driving my GF home and chatting with her in the car in front of her house, I somehow found out that there's this stick on the right side of the driver's seat that adjusts the bolster. I played with it a little and all of a sudden the seat became really comfortable; the difference was night and day.

I'm sure all of you already know that, and yeah I should've read the f-king manual :-P

I'll drive the G more tomorrow and hopefully my middle/lower back will not experience the pain again.
