Hi guys, thanks for mentioning the insane pricing at Glendale Infiniti. I'm planning a buy in a few months, and was hoping to get a deal there. Guess not.

Is there a preferred SoCal dealership? Thanks for any info...

Congrats

I bought my 06 two weeks ago and it's finally at the 1000 mile mark. Thank god because it drove me crazy keeping the rpms down. I now can enjoy really driving it after I do the oil change--MOBIL 1 here I come!

I paid 34.5K for mine. It's exactly like yours but I got the 6MT. They screwed me on my trade-in (E46 BMW 328CI) but I got them to drop from the original 37.5K asking price (MSRP).

Have fun amigo!

I went for a test drive on Sat for an hour or so ... but didn't buy. Went back on Sunday at about 3:45pm, and left with the car at 7:30pm (had to show my lil bro and Mom wanted to see the car too. Haha).

The buying was not too bad. I have to say, in terms of aggression, Infiniti Tustin was somewhere in between your regular Honda/Toyota/Nissan dealer and Lexus. I mean at Lexus, in my experience, they're not pushy at all. At the Honda/Toyota dealers, they are aggressive and always trying to convince you the first offer is some kind of amazing offer. At Infiniti, they lowered the price twice after the initial offer and it met my target ... you just have to be willing to leave but at the same time, show you're serious about buying. Essentially, I said that $40k OTD was my price and if they can't do it, I completely understand but since I have a paid off Lexus I don't NEED a new car... so the only way they're gonna get me to buy is by giving me a great deal.

They came to $40,371 out the door and said that was the best they could do. Still $371 more than my target, but the truth was, I was ECSTATIC. Haha.

I went to a dentist appt this morning in a city 45 mins away. I've never had so much fun driving to the dentist. You guys all seem pretty cool and helpful too... I'm sure I'll have lots of questions.

Me too!

I'm getting a Liquid Platinum / stone leather, automatic (heavy traffic commute), with aero kit, premium package with intelligent key, rear active stear, nav system, and XM satellite. (Did I miss any options?)

They are having to truck this in from out of state; no such vehicle apparently exists on the lots in Texas. Supposed to arrive at the end of this week.

I'm replacing an '04 MINI Cooper S. Will miss the "Scooper" terribly, but I'm looking forward to being pampered... as I haul buns.

I got the car for $37,100 ... that a good price?
Congrats, topramen78, and welcome to G35Driver.com

Enjoy the new ride.
