Bloody amazing car.

The forum is great. I love the way we all share our experiences.

I'll post pics this weekend.

God, its so hard to keep this thing under 4000.

Nissan have made a Brilliant car. The skyline is in a league of its own. Thank god I didnt buy the new 3 series or the Lexus IS250. Thank god.

The new 3 series blows away the G35 in handling, steering and feedback. It's not even close. Performance is pretty comparable if talking about the 330. Too bad it looks so ugly I could not live with myself if I had to look at it every day in my driveway. Enjoy your new G and post some pics.

I happen to think that the new 3 series (sedan) is a great looking car...it's the interior that's horrifying. Bland and boring compared to what's out there...and the price is utterly ridiculous. I mean a loaded 3 series is 45k! Invest that extra $10k (+/-) and you'll have a G35 that handles better than the 3 series and will probably outrun the M3!

Ok,

But, a 330 with min. option is gonna run me $40g's at least. And to have the most boring looking car I have ever seen.
The 325 loaded with what my coupe has would be at least 36k and have 215 hp, you would really have to be extremly vain and have a need to say you own a BMW. Its a car for 45 plus adults who have at least 2 kids and think thay are driving a fast car. I owned BMW motorcycle, A GS650, first single cylinder bike to be fuel injected, it did nothing but surge and not start. Worst bike I have ever owned. BMW started building bikes before cars I believe. Thet cant get a bike right yet, what can that possibly say about their cars.

All I can say is that I've owned 2 Nissans/Infinitis and 2 BMWs so I'm completely unbiased. I had lost count of the squaks and rattles I had in my Maxima and my brand new G. I never thought interior was all that in the e46 until I recently jumped into a G again - and in all honesty, even the 05/06 interior looks plasticy in comparison.

As far as the e90 styling, I can totally agree with you that's why I have an e46. How much is a loaded G? $35k? I thought a loaded 5AT runs over $40k, correct me if I'm wrong.

And btw $10k will not be enough to outrun and outhandle an M3, not even $15k if you want to do it right. But enjoy the G for what it is, the 330 may do some things better but what is function without looks

Geeze, is that an understatement. 800 miles to go for me and it's driving me insane that I can't get on it. I told the dealer (a friend) that I'd be out in front of the dealership at mile 1201 laying a set of bacon strips...

fully loaded 5AT sedan ran me ~36500 before TTL. i got it for 300 and change over invoice so MSRP is over 40k.
