Need good shop on Long Island//RE: Short throw Shifter

Anybody know of a good 1?

I can't do the short throw shifter at home because if wifee finds
out I'm working on my 06....That spells BIG TROUBLE lol

Just do it at a friends house man! I did it with my 06 coupe and it didnt even take that long to do. Granted I don't have a wife...but still don't pay some shop to do it when you can save the money and do it urself! =)

I'm feeling that more and more. Friends house + some cold ones
= priceless. I just have to tell the wifee I'm going to watch
some football

Even better! I would give you hand if needed. The only issue I had with mine was reinstalling the boot under the car! WHAT A PITA!!! It should take about 45 min tops!

Just some FYI, Performance shop in Hicksville does not do
that type of install? WTF? How can they be a performance
shop then..Got me on that one..

Probably cuz it isn't worth there time. They would rather use the lifts for TT installs i guess. If ya need a hand, just shoot me a PM. I did mine and can do it pretty quickly now

What they said was. They dont do them because it can hurt the tranny.
Now thats some funny shi$. A performance shop worried about that. I guess
they dont worry about TT installs, oh well..

Hahaha yea it sounds like they just don't wanna do it. Maybe they think they are too good for doing basic installs like that. Well forget them man...you can still do it on your own prob faster and better than they could!
