I got pulled over after 1 minute of driving heading to work. 2 infractions.

Altered Exhaust $50
Clear Corners $35


I thoguht as long as I had amber bulbs the clear corners were fine. Man what a ****ty ticket not to mention he was a total d!ck to me. Anyone know if these are fix it tickets? just pop on the amber sides take a picture and have court hearing? or if you even get points on your insurance for this kinda crap. Ah well. /End rant

omfg, man that is total BS, so what will they do with my black side markers.

also can they give u a ticket for the sides sicnce they dont blink ???

and for the exhuast, aslong as its a direct bolt on and u still have ur cats you should win in court no prolem man. some cops are juts dikcs and want what we got and just to get a good look how we roll they pull us over

but yes i owuld slap on the ambers and fight it and after court swap them back out and as for the exhuats read above. i got a note from the installer of mine and brought it with me and i won with ease

 

As long as the exhaust is smog legal then he cannot give you a ticket for it, unless its louder than the allowed noise level in the area. As for the clear corners...that sucks.

yeah man he was a total ***...i was being polite and everything to him...he didnt give a crap. so what do i just pop the ambers in and set this ticket to a court hearing? or can i just bring it down to a city hall and show them i put the ambers in? i have an HKS exhaust and it is smog legal i passed inspections and everything. it was for louder than stock noise.....

oh and i dont know where the hell i put my amber clears...anyone got a set i can borrow lol.

 

and i dont know how he would know it was louder to begin with...since i saw him and i was just rolling by him with my foot off the gas. i knew it since once i passed him i saw him come out.

 

pop ambers back in...

send ticket in to fight it and wait for your court hearing,

and bring the hks info with u for smog legall and etc

Wow that sucks I guess it just depends on the cop you get huh. I got pulled over saturday going 85 in a 25 and he only gave me a warning!!!!

That cop is a douch$fvck. Take him to court and mess with him. I've been running clear corners with RED leds for 9 months now. I've been pulled over plenty of times for BS and the cops have never said anything about them even though they walked up and checked them out (along with my missing front plate )
