Hoboken/Jersey City ppl (Parking Question)

Any of you guys living in Hoboken or downtown Jersey City? I am looking to buy a condo in the area but all the places I have seen have tiny parking spots. Just wondering what you guys do to protect your G from the potential dings from neighboring cars? I was thinking of using a car cover?

parking sux in hoboken, downtown jc is considerably better, but your best bet is one of those garages.

Well, that is the thing. All the condos I am looking for have parking garages. However, I can guarentee my flawless zainoed finish would not last long against neighbors slamming their doors against my side. I think I may just go the car cover route. Since my car will only see use on weekends.

I was having the same issues. I finally ended up buying my condo with a private garage. I am in Jersey City btw. What places have you been considering buying?

Yes I am. But I am not in the financial district of JC. I am on the other side. Still a very nice area and all brand new construction. What areas are you looking at?

Buy in Jersey City. The new condos down there come with spots.

My complex is right across the street from a light rail. I don't ever drive during the week. I walk across the complex and street to the brand new light rail station they built. It's great. PM Me if you want some help on what's going on around here or IM me on AIM at LisC79

Hhaha Towboken. Love it. My girlfriend actually got her car towed by Manhattan Tow company in Hoboken. Major pain to get it out.

Hows the social scene in Jersey City? The thing that is swinging me towards Hoboken is the great nightlife. Plus a lot of my friends live there. However, I heard Jersey City has a pretty decent scene as well.

I just go to hoboken when i go out. It is a 15 minute light rail trip away, 5 minute car ride, or $10 cab ride. Like TKMan said, this area is still being built up so everything is new.
