Hey Guys, it looks like I am going to give in. My G just became my daily driver due to other car breakdowns...

So, my tint guy stood me up last week. I also want to do the front corner/blinker mod. If anyone wants to meet for beers and assist in the air/cabin filter exchange etc, please let me know.

Maybe I should darken the tails ( car is 03 silver)

Any other cool ideas to go with the 19s and my clear corners?

The air cabin filter isn't difficult, RockD and I did the one in my car last summer. Just need a screwdriver and the filter. We'll be done in 20 mins with that.

Definitely get it tinted.

Minor mods you might want to consider would include upgrading all your accessory bulbs (dome lights, under door sill lights, license plate lights) to hyper white bulbs. It's a quick install and the bulbs will cost you $10 for all of them.

When do you want to meet to do this stuff?

 

Get a drop, maybe an intake. Small things do make a big difference in the G!

 

I got time this week, pretty flexible. I will be away on late friday and most of sunday onwards..

I will hit Nissan around natick to pick up the cabin filter in advance. Autozone for the hyper whites? hehe thanks Brian, we should have good weather too

 

motordyne plenum spacer, z-tube, exhaust, definitely tint! or just f*ck it all and go FI (i would've if i had the dough). yea, the cabin filter is easy... although you might not need to change it if you're under 30K miles. brian's filter was still pretty clean when we changed it out...

 

when are you coming down to NYC? you can do the blinker mod with me if you are down here a lot more. nice the mod bug got you

 

i will be out in long island, but not in the G unless my other ride decides to kick the bucket. Boy am i glad i got the G extended warranty thru your dealer, my coupe will no doubt be bulletproof while my older car breaks down. I have had a water pump, T belt, and transfer case fail all at once on me this month. I still had 30k til my next major service, dang german cars.

I just cant dump a car thats been good to me for 5 years/100k miles
