I stopped using the soap that they supply at those car washes.
I noticed when I waxed my car and used their soap, my coat of wax was completely gone and my paint didn't feel smooth anymore (lack of wax).

I try to wash my car at my parent's. And I also bring a bucket and meguires gold class with me when I need to wash my car. I have 3 bucket/soap/mit/asorbers.. one at my parent's, one at my place, and one in the car.. LOL.

Wash the paint with a MF mit, then the wheels (inside out) with a MF towel.. Rinse and I wipe down the interior/sills/bay/trunk for a quick wash. I try to wax weekly too.

Hey man..

You're the one that's posting up a car show that has a Spiderman Focus as their mascot car and they are called the "Pumping Pistons"

I guess it is for a good cause lol. Just donate and don't have them wash the car.. duh.

Good point!

I've never been to one of these events so I wouldn't know. I'd donate some money to watch half naked chix wash cars though Might have to reconsider having them wash my car after what was said though I would think it's just common sense to avoid the things that were mentioned

For you who didnt make it, we had a great turn out and a good time before the rain rolled it, which we all scaters over to apple bee's for food and drinks

Well it was a blast and was nice to see some people i havent seen for awhie amoung with new faces
