Does anyone know a good tinter on Long Island? I don't feel like paying the dealer mark up. Any suggestions?

 

I'm not familiar with a reputable place on the Island, but if you are willing to take a little road trip up to Middletown, NY (Orange County) you won't regret it. The place is called James Tint and the guy is a pro. He works with NASCAR for decals, tints, bras, etc. He is also one of very few authorized dealers to install Huper Optik tint. Add to that a discount that cannot be beaten (for G35driver.com members) and you got yourself a win/win situation. I returned to him a second time (after he tinted my 04' coupe), and he gave me an unbeatable price on the sedan:

$300 - Huper Optik tint (5 windows)
$400 - ClearShield full front fascia bra

I think it eliminates the amount of dust particles...

well the only reason tint ever comesa out bad is because of either cheap film, and alot of dust particles in between the tint and the window, the tint has a much better out come when done in a clean environment.
