That sounds about right especially with all the work and wiring that needs to be done for the backup camera.

My headunit alone was $1300 plus the ipod adapter and misc harness/wiring. Then the double din kit was about $250. I installed it myself so I saved money there but the work to run the wire for the camera isn't easy. They have to pull the seats out and all of the flooring. Make sure they dont charge you $1700 now and tack on a few hundo later because they realized how much more labor its gonna be.
