My mother called asking it I use this dealer because it went up in flames. I have not been able to find anything on the web. Is it true?

yeah a friend of mine saw it on www.nbc4.com saying it was some "real-audio" broadcast of someone talking about the fire, but I couldn't find anything on the web this morning when I checked. Haven't checked since early this morning though.

I heard like 17 cars+ got F'ed up... damn..

hopefully didn't affect anyone's car here.

I heard it on CBS radio early this morning but I thought it was another dealer on the opposite side of the NJ transit tracks. I'll be calling there tomorrow too.

called them.
the building and all cars in the showroom are toast. not sure what caused the fire.

sales are being conducted out of douglas ford. i think service too.

imagine having your car there for an oil change and learning about it on the news or this website.

Freaky, I bought my car there too. That was a pretty new building. It's a shame.

wow, that's sad news. It was a pretty good dealership, from what little I had to deal with them. I hope everyone was safe, and that noone's G was effected.

I had the time to drive over to Summit to take a look. Across the street in the lot there was a woman talking to a Summit policeman parked there. I went over and talked a bit. They still don't know how it happened. The woman showed me a picture taken during the fire. Flames shot about 30 feet above the roof. The house next door was without electricity for a few days. Wow.

They're running service out of Douglas Ford in Summit so hopefully it'll work until they rebuild. Any cars that were in that service area where it looks like it started, were definitely toast.

the only time i was there was to take delivery of my car. the empty parking lot formerly didn't have a fence (i think). that is where they kept their cars for sale or just delivered. the badly damaged building was the service area. based upon the pics, it look like it started there.

Sad to see those pics. They were just starting to remodel the place when I picked up my car, what a shame it's all toast now.

 

Yeah, they put the fence up after the fire.
