So I Went To A Local Body Shop in the Boston Area

i asked them to see how much it would cost to fill in the holes where my front license plate would be and to fix a minor scratch on the front bumper/fender.. he said that would be $400.00 and i also asked him to paint and install my roof spoiler and he said it would be another $150.00.. so total is $550.00.. is that a good price? or should i try another shop...

i live in the Boston Area so if anyone could recommend a place that does quality work. please do so.

Just a heads up if you are only running one plate beware you could get a ticket for that.(no front plate) But if you decide to do it anyway try Redi-Rite on route 1 ask for Matt, he does some nice work. I'm dropping mine off to him next week to get some work done.

If he's painting the fender and bumper and actually removing the bumper/headlight and doing things right. Then I would say thats not bad. If hes mask everything off then I would say dont bother.

I wouldn't go there if I were you. They left a member's car out during the rain all torn apart and took their time "fixing it" while he was in Iraq . They also have had another member's car for 30 days and it's still not fixed . Stay away from Redi-rite IMO. Not to mention the countless insurance fraud claims...

Try Ventura's Autobody in Lowell, MA. They have painted and installed kits for many members here and my350z. My car is there right now Ask for Navin!

I personaly have not delt with REDI RITE up untill now. All I know is they do good work over there and he say's he will stand by his work. A friend of mines had his Dodge Magnum done over there. The body kit he had put on was org for a 300c so as you can imagine nothing linded up good. Not to mention that the side skirts were to short so they had to cut and strech them. Now knowing all that if you seen his car and how clean the lines are you would be shocked. Like I said before this is the first time I am dealing with Mat @ redi-rite. I have delt with a lot of bodyshops in or around Boston and my experience is you get what you pay for.
P.S. yes thats the place on 80 Nubery st.
