MAY 10th CARAVANS to VF Park BBQ
Final meet point for caravans coming from the north and east.
DEPARTING FROM EDISON SERVICE AREA @ 10:00 am Sharp.

Can't stress this enough. A call to someone who is at a meet point can save you. We've done this way too many times over the years and someone always comes up with 'I didn't know how to contact anyone'. A word to the wise people..... Anyone wanting Glex25/Gio, Koreangrl/Shelah or O NO/Neil cel number, send a Private Message to any or all.
New Yawk People Come Empty.
But have enough to get you to the Garden State. There is a big difference in gas prices in Jersey compared to what you are paying in New York. It can varry but 45 cents a gallon difference is not uncommon. Please fill up when you get to the rest stop not when we are ready to leave, it just slows/delays the process.
The ride from the Edison Rest Stop to Valley Forge Park is a great run. Smooth roads and uncluttered with little if any amatures on the road.
EZpass - If you have it bring it please. If you don't and can 'borrow' one please try. It helps so we can stay together.
Thomas Edison Service Area New Jersey Turnpike.
Located between Interchanges 12 and 11 southbound (10S) @ Milepost 92.9 Woodbridge Township, Middlesex County N.J.
Gas and Eats are available at this Service Area.
If you are coming through Staten Island make sure to take the Gothals Bridge ONLY. The Outer Bridge will leave you south of the Edison Rest Stop on the Turnpike.
The map below is a Google Intereactive Map. The destination has already been filled in. All you need to is click Thomas Edison Service Area Acc on the leftside of the map. After the page refreshes then click on 'directions' and put in where you are leaving from.

EAST PATERSON MEET POINT
DEPARTING FROM EAST PATERSON MEET POINT @ 8:45am Sharp
THEN ROLLING TO MEET UP AT THE EDISON REST STOP.
GLEX25 aka GIO Will be coordinating this meet point.
The East Paterson Meet Point is in the McDonalds parking lot on Market Street. There is also a BP gas station across the street from McDonalds. This will probably be the best place to fuel up for the trip.

THEN ROLLING TO MEET UP AT THE EDISON REST STOP.
Meet in the parking lot behind the Blue Bay Diner in Bayside. The Diner is located on the Northwest corner where the Long Island Expressway and Francis Lewis Blvd. meet. Entrace to the parking lot is on the westbound service road of the L.I.E. just west of Francis Lewis Blvd. Coming from the east (westbound) on the L.I.E get off at exit #28 Oceania Ave. Stay on service road of expressway westbound. Coming from the west (eastbound) get off and exit #26 Francis Lewis Blvd. make a left at light.
O NO aka Neil Will be coordinating this meet point.
