Dealer service experiences in LI, NY

Hi all,

New owner her looking to hear about your experiences with dealer service in the New York City and Long Island area. I purchased my car at Infiniti of Massapequa and kind of leaning towards them for service due to a great experience with my purchase but wanted to hear from you all about your dealings with the following dealer service centers as I can pretty easily get my car to any of these dealerships.

Infiniti of Massapequa

Competition Infiniti, St James, NY

Infiniti of Manhasset

Infiniti of Manhattan

Thanks

I purchased my G and have had 1 service (free oil change) at Competition Infiniti in St James. Both experiences have been top notch ... highly recommended dealer.

How long you been dealing with Infiniti of Manhasset? I heard from people that they like to sell you more things than you actually need when your in for service. Close friend who was service manager at Biener Nissan now Greatneck Nissan recently left cause the new owners wanted him to sell unnecessary service items while peoples cars were in for service. My friend has over a 32 year history of treating people honestly and didn't want to ruin his reputation by screwing people and I've been dealing with him for about 20yrs and 3 Nissans.

Infiniti of Manhasset, Greatneck Nissan and Nissan of Queens are now all owned by the same guy.

PM me if you want the number of his new shop.

i heard the same story w/ that service manager too. PM me if you need service at Infiniti of Massapequa. I take care of a lot of guys from here. We have a big poll already from G35NYC. Some people do drive out here to visit me still from service as far as PA and NJ.

I was not impressed with Infinity of Massapequa (sunrise highway), I will not go there again nor will I buy another infinity in general cause of their service. I think I just have bad luck with service departments. I live in farmingdale, border line Mass. I just bring my car to my friends shop, I would rather pay then bring my car for free warranty work to Inifinity of Mass. I'm not bringing my car to a further dealership.

I have been to any of the NYC or LI dealers for service. I livw in Queens but also have a place in Yonkers, NY. Pepe Infiniti in White Plains is the only dealer i would ever take my G35X too. There service is just wonderful. I feel i need to tip the mechanic just so that i dont feel like i stealing something from them. They service you car with class. And pricing is much less than Manhattan or LI. I may be a long trip for those of you who live in LI or Manhattan bu the price they give you makes difference also since they are just 3 block form the Galleria Mall and 5 blocks formthe Westchester Mall you can walk over to all the great restaurants in the area, cheak out a movie or do some shoppoing while your car is serviced. If you just want to go home or drive around they will have a loaner for you always.

I've been to Infiniti of Manhasset and the only guy I deal with is Paul, usually takes care of me and never bull****s me. However, the prices have gone up to the point I stopped going. Only go when I need to. I do agree that the other service managers push services. I just say I don't want it and I will not pay for it.

I want to be thrilled with Competition. But I can't. Please don't sell me a fuel injector service as a solution to a pinging problem. Know what I mean?
