Insurance in NJ

The never ending topic.

Anyone have any info on AMICA and/or AAA Mid-Atlantic?

Good rates? Service?

Re: Insurance in NJ

i know that AMICA quoted me $4950/yr to drive my coupe as a single male, 23, and clean record. How's that sound? I think ->

Anyway, I have heard good things about AMICA, which is why I tried to get a quote in the first place. Give it a shot, maybe yours will be better if you're in a diff. category.

...Damn NJ car insurance!!!

Re: Insurance in NJ

For all these quotes in NJ, are you guys choosing the option of limitation on lawsuits or NO LIMITATION?

AAA MidAtlantic gave me a quote hundreds less then I'm paying now. Any feedback on them?

Re: Insurance in NJ

New Jersey Remanufacturers...you need to be related to someone who has their own policy to get your own, unless you have a very good driving record. NJM is their technical abbreviation but I always type NJR, what it would logically be, lol. Anyway, PM me if you need any info about them.

Re: Insurance in NJ

Ahh ok, I actually asked my parents about this the other day (they were the reason I was able to get my own policy so I figured they'd know.) When I started off at 17, I was on NJR, now I am on NJM. The reason I moved up to NJM was because I was under my parents umbrella for a year, then under my own NJR policy for a year, then under the "NJR safe driver" teir for a year, and now, I'm able to get my own NJM policy. Hope that clears that up a lil more.
