Westborough Mass - New Infiniti Dealership coming our way...

I searched the regional thread & there was no news of this, so thought I'd spread the word. There's a new Herb Chambers of Westborough dealership that is currently under construction. I drove by the site a couple of weeks ago & they had some signs up. Apparently they broke ground in March of this year, but not sure when they will be done & open.

Let's all hope with them being new that their tech's will be much better trained & know how to fix things right the first time!!! (unlike *cough* their Boston *cough* facility on Comm. Ave. *cough) Lucky for me they're only 10 minutes from my office here in Southboro! Going to Kelly Infiniti during the work week has been a royal PITA in the past.

Here's some info and a photo of what it might look like:

I have been by there a few times. Looks like Feb of 09 is the scheduled opening.

Looks like it might be a nice place, but i will be heading to Infiniti of Nashua as they look closer.

Not sure how Herb Chambers is for service. I can tell you when pricing the Extended Warranty, they were about 90% higher than my lowest quote, and on average 25% or more higher than everyone else.

Maybe your experience will be different, but they seem like a true STEALer to me.

I despise Herb Chambers and his band of hacks... but I do look forward to having a dealer closer to me than Warwick, RI.

Hopefully this new dealer will understand the words "NO NOT WASH"

Where in Central MA are you? Care to share your story about the wash?

I'm in Charlton... work in Framingham.

I chose Warwick because after calling several dealerships (Infiniti, BMW, Lexus), these guys were by far the most professional.
I went down and had the test drive of my life. My sales guy (who now works over at Inskip BMW) was Sloan. He told me what to do and I got to bring the G to it's very limits. 45 minutes later, I was sold.
I enjoyed the inventory because they had every color combo in stock, so I got to see exactly what I wanted before making my fully loaded order.
Every time I go down there, I'm treated very well.... I don't have a complaint with that.

My issue is with the guys who wash my car.
Everytime I go down there, I leave with towel swirls and they always wash my tire dressing off.

When I took delivery, they had a horrible buffer swirl mark on the right rear pilar, traced back to a new guy with the wrong pad during prep. (I had asked for no prep to be done). They were unable to remove it without making it worse and I ended up working on it myself. They paid me back for my own time with a set of all-season floor mats.
I have had my car down there for service a few times and it leaves with damage every single time. Scratches mostly, like a huge one on my shift ****. It has since been replaced.

I'm to the point now where I leave post-its inside the car, on the steering wheel and on the stereo. They say "Do Not Wash" and yet, it always gets a bath before being brought back out to me.

Very professional staff and they always repair what the screw up, but the guys out back cannot follow simple directions and don't take enough care when doing what they do.

Other than that, I have no strong feelings on the matter.

As for Herb Chambers, hopefully the Infiniti dealership is better than the experiences I have had at Toyota.
My last expereince had me so upset that I went to Acura the very same day and bought a MDX instead of the Sienna minivan we had been eyeing.
I guess things have a way of working out, huh?

They are Herb Chambers... You will be assimilated...

How many dealerships does he have now? 42...

Think his goal is to be a New England monopoly

Update - I called their Boston location & confirmed this new location should be opening end of March/early April. I work down the road from the new site and am in need of a 105K service soon. I may stick it out & wait until they open for convenience & give them a shot.

Nice...thanks for the update. I bought from their Boston dealership, but I hate going on the pike and paying the tolls to get there.
