I haven't heard this, but I was thinking it.
I'm on the coil-over fence but I don't want to drop all that coin and then have them get all caked up with that winter crap... and I'm certainly not swapping out twice a year.
I was thinking about springs but I do quite a bit of miles and don't want the additional cost of constantly replacing suspension parts due to premature wear.

betta off with coilovers. i had them on my last car and would give u a betta choice off drop since must people after they drop there cars say ...ohh is needs to be lowered more or is to low... on the winter i just drove the car through a car wash and the undercarriage cleaner from the drive in would wash off any salt on my suspension area and undercarriage

Well how deep are your pockets? Cuz good springs are around 300 and good coilovers are 1200 and up. I have Tein S.Tech lowing springs on mine and love it.

Mike-I really like ur drop-u said those are s-techs? I might go with those if they are not too unconfortable-I dont want a major drop and the price dif between the stechs and the basics is major--so if the confortability difference is not major then they are not worth it to me
