Re: Cheap Gas in NJ

every gas stations gas comes from basically the same place..there is nothing better about a 87 octance sunoco over a 87 octance raceway or a 93 exxon vs. a 93 amoco etc. all those gas tankers fill up at the same exact refinery, and just sell their gas under their own names.

Re: Cheap Gas in NJ

Not sure if that's exactly true. Shell had to shut down about 50% of its gas stations because of a sludge problem. None of the other brands had a problem.

Sunoco of New Milford in Bergen County has a sale on Super 93 for mondays and tuesdays. They offer it at the same price as the middle grade gas 91. On wednesdays they have a Sale on Ultra 94. Not sure if they offer that one at the middle grade price or super price. I'll find out wednesday!

I was hoping these gas prices would eliminate some traffic. The roads in NY are busie than ever.

Re: Cheap Gas in NJ

You guys could also look into the Citibank Dividend card which gives 5% back on gas and supermarket purchases.

I don't work for them, I just have the card and it is a great way to ease the pain of gas prices.

Re: Cheap Gas in NJ

NO!!!!!!!!! Not another G coupe in New Milford. My days of exclusivity are long over J/k... welcome to the fam. What color? Say hi when you see a blue coupe!

It used to be the old Mobil on River Road and New Bridge. Now it's a Sunoco.

Re: Cheap Gas in NJ

Thanks for the info...I have a black coupe. I'll make sure to be on the lookout for you. I saw someone w/ a silver coupe yesterday in Emerson during my lunch break, who gave me a honk and a thumbs up.

Glad to be part of the evergrowing family.

Re: Cheap Gas in NJ

the wait was about 20 minutes at 5:30pm...and yes, all gas comes from the same pipe lines..only differences being "some" additives and the conditions of the underground tanks...and with gas dropping a bit, the 93 octane at costco is probably gonna be around $1.85 soon...
