Install Remote Starter in Boston this weekend?
I did on my friend's Xtera, and yes you need to give up a key for the transponder in order for the car to start. I saw the key in 1/2 for security reason, you have to loose some to win some.

PM me andcan see if I can send you to one of my dealer connects to hook you up.
Ive had my system put in at Parkway sound. they did a pretty good job. Im waiting for the new HD 2 way viper alarm to come out, so that parkway can install it for me.
Is sonny's tint in Saugus still a good place to go? I need my windows done also.

I don't have a prob with that as i park my car right up to my living room window and at work i park right up against the building near my cube, so i can get within 20 feet of the car when i need to start it.
I just don't want to carry 2 remotes around. I don't mind stashing the valet key as i don't use it, but i would like to find a clean install that i can use my I-key with
i'm not sure if my key has that chip in it but when i got my remote start/alarm combo i didn't need to give up any key i just paid a extra hundred to get this thing that tricks the transponder into thinking theres a key there. this is installed on an 03 350z 6speed.
