Now that Massachusetts has become a competitive market for insurance companies, I need to shop for a new one. I've got Commerce Insurance and although they've never rejected a claim, I think they're pretty expensive. I know each of us will qualify for a unique rate, but for those of you who have recently switched insurance companies here in Ma, can you share with us what you were paying and what you're paying now, and what company you had before and what company you switched to?

My insurance from Commerce is coming in at $2,600/year.
I want to find something better.

I pay about 2K a year on the G with Progressive. I had safety insurance before. With progressive you can add your custom parts to insurance, and if there are any damages, then then they will pay you the extra amount you spent on the custom parts.

Plus you can specify the amount of money you want on your rental if you needed one.

That should be the case with all Massachusetts insurance.

Paying $1400/yr with Safety insurance for my S4. That's with full coverage, maximum injury and damage coverage, and a $300 deductible. Plus, they do cover mods.
