ive searched for some paint shops around boston n i came up wit High Tech G's guy that he knows & PPGFREAK. was wondering is any1 has used either of these guys? are they still available? and if any1 has had luck wit any other shops? i have an IP coupe and i know its a bitch 2 blend so id like sum1 really good 2 do it. bumper is scraped up, i already replaced the fender but it dosent match, n i need my door pillar repainted. lmk thanx

 

ventura's autobody in lowell

 

There's a guy on Rt 6 in Westport, I think it's called Distinctive. He did three jobs for me before and I was always satisfied.

 

My girlfriends brothr does paint and body work. He is located in Waltham, MA. He's done work on several forum members cars (Ben0878 painted complete car, Fluffy, painted complete car, IronMike paint and install body kit, MrOreo repaired and painted the quarter, Steve350z painted complete car and did my G as well)

+1000000000, harold does amazing work...got my quarter panel done in like half a day, dropped my car off thursday got it back friday. Definitely give him a call, getting some more work done there soon.

 

went to venturas today. they gave me a reasonable estimate. the only thing is i talked 2 the owner and he said he was on vaca next week and he wants 2 be there since its a 3 stage paint, kinda weird that he dosnt have any trustworthy guys 2 do it, dont ya think? hey 617G did he do work for u? i went to kelly collision in beverly, they wanted $1850! guys outta his mind!!! i plan on callin harold tomm. thanx for the info guys! are the friday night car wash meets going yet? i was in vegas for the winter i need 2 hit those up again!

 

hate to bring up an old thread, but I am from Medford and I need to get my rear bumper repainted since some dude scratched my rear up and left. I dont want to pay my deductible. Is ventura in lowell still worth going to? How about HiTechs recommendation in Waltham? Any help is appreciated.

Does anyone know how much a repaint would cost for a rear bumper (I think its been repainted before) so I guess there might be more work involved......

WTFisJUICE, if you go to Ventura, make sure you talk to Navin and that he does the work...

 

I'd be happy he said he wants to be there to oversee it. But that's just my view. If he owns the place and is watching/helping them do it, it's his ***/reputation on the line. I've had 2 parts painted there (Ventura's) & came out great, no issues at all. They even let me leave w/out paying as they needed a check from me (didn't take credit for some reason) and they trusted me to send them a check in the mail later.
