anyone have a good lawyer that can represent me in goochland va? Got pulled over today for speeding...

 

Brother, believe me when I say the Gooch is not speeder friendly. I hate 64W. Louisa, Goochland...all of it. A lawyer may help some, but they crucify speeders in those small counties out there. GODSPEED and Good Luck..

 

Oh my. thats the last thing i needed to hear. Too bad i work out here and drive through here everyday...

 

A Lawyer definitely wouldn't hurt though. See what they say..

my sister got a reckless driving ticket in goochland about 5yrs ago. she was come over a hill with the officer downhill. she got a lawyer and got it reduced to ten miles over. ill ask her if she remembers who she had as a lawyer.

 

That is probably gonna be your best bet. One of my ex had the cleanest driving record I know of. She was coming home from JMU, and the cop clocked her at 80. went to court thinking that she will get driving school since it was her first offense or just get it lowered....NO. The judge threw the $300 book at her and told her they dont give driving school as an option. This was 1999. I'd hate to see what they do now..

Oh they are just as bad. I called 3 lawyers today and all 3 told me they would be stealing my money if i used them because the ONE and only judge in goochland will not let you off on speeding tickets. They also said that even if my speedometer was off by 5 miles the judge would still give me a 10 over ticket. I never expected to hear those words from a lawyer saying they would be stealing money lol. Sounds like a awesome place to live!!!

 

Mike bought a radar detector from best buy when he came to visited me. Passport 8500. He told me it save his *** a couple of times on his way home and he also used it in va. Highway 58 on the way to Hampton. He said it was worth the money. Just a thought for you guys.

 

I CANNOT reiterate enough how I hate 64w. I'm mad for you man..

 

how much did that radar detector run him Pete....i will probably getting one myself.
