So this is my 2nd year here in VA and you all have some crazy laws with transportation/automotive.

Over 80 = automatic reckless...
Unmarked cop cars (doesn't exist in ohio)
And my current favorite... the FUGLY safety inspection sticker on the windshield.

Which brings me to my question, where the heck do I go to get a safety inspection? I looked it up online at VA's DMV/police and they said they don't list them and you just have to look for a sign in a window or something crazy.

Where do I take my care to get it inspected? The only google results were hoopty Joes Garage places that I don't want to take my car to. Can I get this done at the dealer?

and the inspection you can get just about any car shop, not sure if the dealer can do them?? back home i knew ppl that did them havent had to have a car inspected up here yet

 

Most any garage will do the inspection. I think even walmart does them just go look.

 

Yea, Pearson Infiniti on west braod street does inspections, nearly all reputable shops will do them, its only like 12 to 15 bucks.
