Arjun shoot me a text if you are going. What saturday is it again? I can't find the original thread.

Oh and you might not be the only 37 with ironman's in RIC soon.... I bought a spare set of headlights and I'm going to crack them open soon and start modding.

And good luck with the headlights! Whosyourbuddie did his own as well and they turned out pretty good.

Thanks, I'm still not sure if I'm going to do Iron man. It's going to be the most difficult part. Finding quality LED's that won't burn out after 2 years and trying to wire it up so they turn on with the parking lights. I would talk to buddie but he got banned from myg37. And I can't seem to find his thread where he showed his headlight build.

Doing it yourself isn't hard as long as you have time and patience. I would also recommend doing them on a spare set of lights also. I was looking into doing some mods to headlights but got lazy and didn't have time.

I have the DIY for your car if you are just looking to mod the projectors
https://g35driver.com/forums/body-in...color-mod.html

That's the easy part. What I'm trying to do is called the Iron Man mod that is pretty common on G37s. It requires wiring and drilling LED's into the projector shroud, and I haven't actually found a DIY for it although quite a few people have done it themselves. Whosurbuddie was one of them but he got banned from Myg37 so I need to PM him on some other site to ask him for instructions and where to get quality LEDs. Rigging the wiring is going to be the most challenging part.

I forgot about that, haha. Also, I'm pretty sure he bought the LEDs from Igor, but installed them himself.

Thanks Ben, I actually hit him up on OurVQ and he PM'd me back. Said it took him 10 hours haha. He told me what kind of LED's he used but I don't think he got them from Igor.

Arjun do you have your Iron Man wired to your fogs or your parking lights? I don't like running my fogs so I never use them, so I was thinking I would wire them up to my side markers since I'm going to paint the side amber anyway and the lights would become non functional. That way my iron man would only be on while the side marker (parking lights) were on.

Hmm... but buddie said it's not for the faint of heart, and it took him 10 hours.

I remember him telling me he got something from Igor, oh well. My ironman turns on when any lights are on. So I can either run them with the parking lights or with my headlights on. I don't use my fogs either, so I wouldn't have minded if he wired them up to that.
