Haha, but alright another time then. Hopefully I can meet this Rafa guy as well and hear his exhaust.
But I can't get the same one, maybe I'll go pick up an ARK or a Fast Intentions.
I just don't like the canister design on those, I like the way the invida and MXP because they don't hang down as far, less chance of scraping.
They boxes are too big for the g. And my friend Seth has the FI exhaust over here in Yorktown. Looks like you're down to Ark...maybe Tanabe?

I'm contemplating buying a used (4k miles) Magnaflow exhaust for $300 that a NoVA guy is selling. Anyone ever hear it in person? I've heard the vids, and it sounds pretty good, but I don't wanna throw away $300 if it's not worth it.

I heard that the Tanabe has a freeway drone, which would suck for me since I have an interstate commute daily. It may take some getting used to though. My wife has a '08 Explorer 4.6L w/ Flowmaster 50 that has a 2k RPM drone that I've learned to live with.

Oh damn Seth picked up a FI? Was it from that guy in NOVA that was selling? I looked at that same exhaust too but passed because he wanted a LOT for it.

Efffff tanabe I'm not getting no axel back. Freaking mufflers man. I'm looking for some HP gains too not just sound, gotta go catback.

I think I'll just have to get an HKS... seems like the only logical choice haha

Tanabe drones and doesn't give any HP gains. I've heard magnaflow videos but honestly I think its a terrible looking exhaust haha. I think you can get them new for 4-500 but nobody wants them. It wouldn't be bad to try out for 300 but it might be hard to sell if you don't like it.

Yeah I saw that the Magnaflow is a single canister style exhaust, so it doesn't look as good. Everything else is $1000+. Makes me think about buying other stuff first.

Seth's FI sounds bad ***. Probably the best sounding G37 I've heard. Sounds just right.

Yea, the FI exhaust sounds amazing. I just didn't want to get it because he already had it. Go TT!

Toss a link up Tony so I know I'm looking at the correct ones. So I bought 2 struts back in May when I stripped the top hat off my drivers side one. Well I took the car in today to get it rebalanced and everything but when we took it for a drive he suggested the struts were bad. We pulled it in and up on the jacks it went, he couldn't find anything wrong with any of it except when he went and reached around the struts there was hydraulic fluid everywhere. So I need to buy a set of struts and install them by next Friday so I can take the car to New Jersey for a wedding, and if I'm going to buy another set I might as well get whats right for the car instead of whats convenient.

Here ya go Tim, i thought they made the 5 way adjustables for our cars but it says they dont but the Tokico HP ones should be a nice aftermarket for it. Its the blue set, just put in the info of your car in the look up guide. This website has them for 10% off your first purchase of $150 or more + free shipping as well. Hope this helps ya out buddy.

Tony the Q300 has the old Xpipe design, the Gemini is the updated version and less raspy.

If you need new struts, wouldn't it just be easier to get full coilovers? That way you can get the adjustable dampening and height with a matched set of springs and shocks.

Well it comes down to the point where I don't have room to go lower with the tire sizes and such that I have on the car. The Tokico are adjustable for their stiffness. I already have 2 sets of springs sitting in my living room not being used and the S-Tech's that I put on the car have been on since May so it would really be a waste to get another set of springs to only have to try and sell and push these. Plus its about a $400 difference between just some struts and coilovers.
