The tanabe will work good not sure what the drop is I'm on my phone think its around an inch
if you think you will go to 20s at some point those sportlines I mentioned will not work unless there's lots of camber and smaller tires but if its just an inch 20s would
Anyone feel free to chime in with more info

i've been told different stuff, but i think i will give em a shot. i just want to lower them so i can get a new look without having to get wheels right away. I cannot afford it.

the dff210's is actually a considerable drop, G35 Coupe (V35) 03-06 5.5 / 6.3 1.7 / 1.3.
Any drop lower than 1" for the front and rear, i recommend that you go with a front/rear camber kit so that you dont have excessive tire wear.

what's a good camber kit? I won't buy it right off the bat, since i will need new tires before too long anyway. ill let em get some camber wear and get everything done at the same time.

i think if you decide to stay with 19" rims then you will be fine depending on the offset of your rims plus tire size you plan on running. Technically, you could still run 20" rims but not aggressive offsets.

they are the factory g35 19s. i might go with the lowering springs, see where it all sits, and consider some sort of spacers, probably won't even need them.

SPC is a good brand and a lot of ppl on here run with them. There is a vendor on here that sells them for the front/rear kit together for $525.Originally Posted by Kenny_Cox

I wouldn't run new tires with that low of a drop without the cambers for more than a couple of weeks or will see the excessive wear real quick.

exactly! i am going to wait for these tires to wear out, then get new tires and the camber stuff. i have probably 6 months or so left on the tires that are on there now.

if you plan on sticking with oem rims just have them repainted/powdwercoated, springs, camberkit and some spacers. You would be set til you decide to go aftermarket rims.

i think the springs shall come first. then comes the new tires with the camber kit, then comes the spacers.

i know you may work a lot Kenny but at least try to come meet up with the guys so you can check the different setups to gauge on the direction you wanna go with your G. Don't worry if you dont have much done to the G, i can speak for the guys, we dont care about that sort of thing.

that's really not part of the issue at all. this is the least customized vehicle i have owned, and i still love it. its just hard for me to find time. when is the next get together anyway? lol

Well, we are meeting up this coming Saturday to go to Va Beach/HR for a charity event then get together with the guys from the area. Should be a good showing of people.

See. That sucks! I work every saturday. And getting one off, not possible
. I want to meet some of the crew so that I have a place to turn when an issues arises. Like now for instance. The flippin thing has a squeak. Sounds like a bird. Its something that the belt is driving or the belt itself. Drives me bonkers!
