Spring Mountain Run 09!!!!

Details on route and groups soon to be released

Things to keep in mind, and to bring with you:

1. Safety First
2. Walkie Talkie (FRS Style) Route doesnt have cell service most times
3. NO PASSING
4. NO BLOCKING
5. STAY in your assigned Position/Group (More to come on this, we may make this a requirement)
6. Navigator to read out directions/turns
7. There will be no stoping and waiting, we will have set up locations to meet/catch up and refuel if needed
8. We will be stopping to grab lunch and take pics (Bring your cams!!!)

Those who have been on the Mtn Runs of past years know how much fun it is, but please ensure your car is well prepped to be a part of this event.

Car Focal Points:

Stock Brakes - They will take a beating. Make sure they are good to go
Tires - Please ensure they are in good condition to take a beating
Oil & Fluids - Please top off and get an Oil Change!

Damn... I've been looking forward to this event, but I'm booked that weekend.
Stupid weddings

 

I'm down for this...if Adrian can bring us to the roads in the photo he posted.

 

That might be too much to ask & we should cut him some slack! ...think we should meet him 1/2 way & try to find roads that aren't under construction with muddy potholes full of muddy water. (not a stab at you Adrian in any way, just bringing up the good times).

 

I'm planning on attending. Add my name to the list, please. I've got walkie talkies this time. I think we should lengthen the route - I just came back from an all day cruise on Sunday (the Kancamagus Highway in NH) and it was simply awesome - on the road from 10AM until 6PM. About 5 scheduled stops along the way. Tons of fun.

 

I may get my car back from tune on Friday.. if that's the case i will attend. Worst case ill hopefully see you all at the OCC meet Sunday June 28th.
