that maybe true, i just don't give respect blindly.

when i get puled over, and the cops starts out talking down to me, im going to give it right back to him.

you are very right, not all cops are the same, i have dealt with a few cops who i thought were very good at their job and were in simple terms, just regular normal people working a job.
but the majority of cops come off with an authority complex, they insult and talk down to me before i even open my mouth.
so yes i tend to group cops in to the category of "he is probably *** hole until proven otherwise"

some can prove other wise, but most fall short.

its in the code of conduct for a cop to act professional. if all cops truly followed that, you would not see all those videos on youtube of a cop acting like and *** and abusing his authority, then being put on "paid administrative leave" also known as a paid vacation.



so i agree with you not all cops are the same, i just call each situation as i see it.

you are missing my point, the fact that the person attracts a cops attention is not the point im trying to make.

i fully expect that when im doing something dumb, the cops are going to notice.

what i also fully expect is when the cop talks to me, he does it in a professional manor, regardless of my alleged infractions.

if i get pulled over for speeding, cop should come up to my window, and say "hey i got you for speeding on radar, the posted limit is X, here is you fine, have a nice day"

but usually the cop comes up and starts out, "why are you racing around on my roads" in a condescending tone. and it goes down hill from there.

 

actually i would like to retract this statement,

if im caught raping or murdering some one, or some form of sex crime, or any kind of serious crime that inflicts on another persons human rights,

i would hope the cop would tazer me and give me a little pre-court room beating
