^lol $95?!

I would not let a shop do 5 hours of work for $20 an hour! Mst good shops charge $75 an hour and up. Whta shop would work for that and be able to stay open? I will help because he is a friend and I dont want his money, but at work I make more then that shop charges lol.

+10000 It's a 2-3 hour job. Even at $75 an hour, which is CHEAP, that puts you at 150-225. If you don't want to pay for install, do it yourself. If you can't do it yourself....don't mod your car. Shops need to make money too.

The turn this thread took has me feeling like a complete @ss now.
I was just looking for some recommended shops

Corey, I appreciate the offer and I still think it would be a blast to get together somewhere and have a little mod party. I'm willing to do all the work. I just wanted someone there with experience to guide me along. I'm also happy to take the Porter Cable out and do a few details that day as well. It sounded like a good idea until this conversation about price started up and now I feel like a cheap bastard for not just paying a shop to do it.

If you guys are interested, I'm still game and I'm willing to "donate" some funds to your favorite charity or upcoming mod too.
I'm also happy to drive up to Maine to save you the journey down here.

If this has become a dead horse , I'm more than okay with just calling the suggested shops and getting this taken care of.

Either way, no hard feelings and I'm looking forward to the next meet to hang around with you knuckleheads again.

3 hour job? Each side rear takes about 10 mins. Each front takes about 30 mins. I can take out a vqmotor in less than 4. Who takes 3 hours for springs.

And how can a spring install be a ****ty work. Its not body work where it can come out faded or wavy. Its straight forward install. Ive done a spring install, and rear camber arms on a recent customer for 120 and now hes coming back to me for clutch install. Ive done numerous turbo installs as well as few vq engine assemblies.

No problem at all. I was just irritated at the fact that people actually complain at low prices. I bring my prices down so people dont have to pay 300 dollars for a simple job but even at 95 bucks, wow.

Continue please. I appologize.
