Boston Dyno Tuning Event/w UPREV

Ok guys here we go. I talked to a local tuner yesterday an this morning, An we are going to put together a tuning Event with UPREV. The shop is in Malden MA, and the guys name is Tony, # is 781 324 3530. We are looking to get 10-15 Cars NA or FI. I need to get an idea how many are really interested in this. So lets get some interest going here. The cost will be pretty cheap I cant say how much yet casue there are some things he has to iron out with UPREV, But I can tell you if we only get 10 cars it will be well worth it , Trust me.. I will have a final price by this afternoon but lets get some names on here.. Any questions you can PM me or call Tony.. This will be held on a Saturday also and you cars time on the Dyno will be around 2hrs.. LETS GO!!!!

Good catch there Speed Demon.

I just checked Boston Dyno's website & they have a DynoJet Model 224x Dyno.

The 224x is 2WD: http://www.dynojet.com/automotive_dy...o/default.aspx

The 424x is AWD: http://www.dynojet.com/automotive_dy...o/default.aspx

I'd like to go, but it depends on when this takes place. My car is up for the winter.

Yea your right, I found that out late lastnight. But what ever I know the guys ay DSG and Tony knows Matt( The tuner there) So, I still will be tuned just not there. That sux tho and probally will hurt this thread alot. I figured the local MA tuners had AWD dynos cause or the all the snow we get. I was wrong..

So whats the deal? Price and is it still on? How many cars are in? What kind of tune will he be doing? A base line map or full wideband tuning?

Yes its still on. Price should be 350-400 a car I have like 4 cars right now. An full wideband tune. When I get a price in stone from Tony I will be asking everyone to contact him for prepayment.. There will be no paying when you get there it all has to be prepaid with Tony. The day is up in the air till we get settled price.

I might be interested, but really want to know more about this "wideband tune". I read his site and looks like your mileage will improve as well as performance, is that right? Also, you said it would be 2 hours per car on the dyno..., are they really going to do all 10+ cars on one day?

No on one day it will be ove two days. So 2 hours a car an a all day thing. Probally a 9am 9pm deal. Yea you should see better gas mileage also. The car will be running leaner so not dumping as much fuel.. If you have any questions on the wideband, Just call Tony, that end of it is over my head, LOL

So uprev with osirus not cipher. Is it a preloaded map flash or a full tune with custom map?

I'd be in if you had set this one up somewhere with an AWD setup.
Oh well...

Doesn't the place in Sterling so AWD?
Why not get this going there instead?

Its UPREV Osirus tuner, With a full wideband tune, Not a preloaded map. He will be tuning the car on the dyno to get as much as he can safely..

looks like a good meet...i may drop by depending on my day...but i've already got my osiris tune done...car feels totally different..had a gain of 38 whp with just bolt-ons...better fuel too...and allows u to have up to 5 different settings to choose from when they do the tune..I paid $450 for my license and dyno tune
